500mL Glas-Col Heating Mantle, Series O, Hemispherical, 270 Watts. The Glas-Col Series O mantle is a hemispherical style, meaning it covers only the bottom half of the flask. This allows full view of contents. The mantle accommodates single and multi-flasks. It should be used with the Series O supports. All mantles are 115 Volts and are supplied with a separable 4 foot, 2 wire cord and locking connector. For Series O supports see CG-10010 or CG-10012.

These multiposition extraction heaters let you run several projects simultaneously by using either two or six individually controlled heating mantles. Each mantle has an independent heater with control dial, on/off switch, and indicator light, and operates to a maximum element temperature of 800C. A quartz heating element is housed in a thermally insulated cartridge for easy replacement, extending the life of the heater. Heaters are supplied with back-mounted brackets to hold support rods up to 1/2" (12.7 mm) in diameter. The lower part of the unit containing the control equipment is safely separated from the upper heating elelments by a well-ventilated air space. Units are double fused on the supply line and neutral for extra safety. Power cord is NOT included. Unit must be hard-wired.

Coil can be used to cool or heat the contents of a vessel. Fabricated from #304 Stainless Steel tubing with a green PFA coating that is electrically tested to insure complete coverage. This method of manufacture provides for excellent heat transfer and avoids the problems normally associated with heat-shrink PTFE tubing on copper tubing.
